E-Book Readers, Unite!
I’ve been in e-mode for four weeks now, uploading my older, never-before-released and/or out-of-print books to kindle. It’s been a blast. I have quite a few to go, but this is my list so far. I’m also listing the current prices. Many were at “free” status for a while, but amazon only lets that go on for five days. At any rate, I’ve listed them at low/competitive prices and hope my readers will take advantage of that! These books will eventually be on B&N, too, but I’ve signed a 90-day agreement with kindle for now.
Here’s the list!
SURVIVOR! A PARENT’S GUIDE TO RAISING TEENS IN THE 21st CENTURY (FREE until March 23rd!): This contemporary survival guide is a practical tool for Christian parents of teenagers. Each theme-based chapter is “led” by a biblical “tour guide,” with Scriptures that apply to a teen’s life and their particular issues. Some of these “tour guides” provide insight by having fallen away from God, others are examples to follow. At the end of each chapter the author poses a pertinent question to a variety of parents, teens, and youth workers, who each take a turn answering it from their perspective. Whether their kids are rebellious and wayward or full of spiritual zeal, the principles in this book will help parents develop or maintain a healthy relationship their teens—and with God. Moms and dads will find these biblical guidelines presented in a refreshing way that are easy to apply.

DUTY TO DIE (.99)
Duty to Die, a “what-if” fictional thriller set in the not-too-distant future, comes almost too close for comfort in a society lacking a sanctity for life. Can death be packaged in such a way that it actually begins to look like a viable option for those in distress? If so, what will the consequences be for the elderly, terminally ill, and disabled? This story is shockingly close to reality: Congress has enacted the “Duty to Die” law, forcing euthanasia on wide groups of children and adults who find themselves meeting the definition of “defective” according to the new law. A frightened young woman with a terminal illness, a new mother with a baby born with birth defects, a young man marked with HIV, and others fight against all odds. The “Duty to Die” law interferes with the rights guaranteed every American citizen in the 14th amendment. But who has the courage to fight this injustice? How can the raging tide be turned in time to save innocent lives?
